El Mac Takes Over LA

On top of a frequently visited building in West Hollywood sits Miles “Mac” MacGregor working on one of his latest pieces. Born in Los Angeles in 1980, Mac began his career painting with acrylics and painting graffiti in the mid-90’s and has since worked consistently towards mastering his signature portrait style. His primary focus has been the lifelike rendering of human faces and figures. His latest mural highlights a lifelike portrayal of Connie Rice, a civil rights attorney, activist, and relative of former U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice. His work will be featured in an upcoming L.A. Times article, which will also be focus on the writings of Connie Rice.
