Hailing from the cold streets of Queens, we have emcee Koncept who just dropped an album I can’t stop playing. For those who said hip-hop was dead haven’t heard what this cat can do. It was refreshing hearing rhymes that tell a story and beats that were original, crisp, and made you sink into a unforgettable state of mind. Koncept is no rookie in the game, he has Royce 5’9 dropping some bars with him on the single “Watch the Sky Fall” which is produced by Marco Polo. This track is only one of the many bangers on this album. Listening to the album you can hear influences from Brand Nubian, Dead Prez, soulful blues, R&B, and that east coast vibe you can only get from being a native.
