The dates sold out on the strength of current single <strong>\u0093Melt<\/strong>,\u0094 a few earlier singles from his <a href=\"https:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/au\/album\/thinking-in-textures\/id510838210\">Thinking in textures EP<\/a> , his hugely popular collaboration with fellow Australian <a href=\"https:\/\/soundcloud.com\/flume-1\">Flume<\/a> on the track \u0093<strong>Left Alone<\/strong>,\u0094 and <strong>Chet\u0092s<\/strong> appearance on the Swedish\/Australian group <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sayloulou.com\/\">Say Lou Lou&#8217;s<\/a> track \u0093<strong>Fool Of Me<\/strong>\u0094&#8211;earning a \u0093Best New Track\u0094 from Pitchfork.<\/p>\n<p><center><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"100%\" height=\"166\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"no\" src=\"https:\/\/w.soundcloud.com\/player\/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fapi.soundcloud.com%2Ftracks%2F104571881\"><\/iframe><\/center><\/p>\n<p>Look for <strong>Faker<\/strong> to return to the US this fall for an 11-date stint with British beatmaker <a href=\"https:\/\/soundcloud.com\/bonobo\">Bonobo<\/a>, and a headline showcase at Output\u0092s Panther Room in Brooklyn, NY on November 18 (tix available <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ticketfly.com\/event\/397121\">here<\/a>). The showcase will feature <strong>Faker<\/strong> performing solo in a brand new electronic setup, as he pushes the BPM up a notch. He will also offer a taste of new tracks from his debut album, due in 2014.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/downtownrecords.com\/\">Downtown Records<\/a> released <strong>Faker\u0092s<\/strong> sultry single <a href=\"https:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/us\/album\/melt-single\/id688653863\">\u0093Melt<\/a>\u0094 featuring <a href=\"https:\/\/soundcloud.com\/kilo-kish\">Kilo Kish<\/a> on iTunes. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/Chetfaker\">Chet Faker<\/a> is the pseudonym Nicholas Murphy crafted a nod to Chet Baker&#8217;s singing style while incorporating influences from a youth spent producing house and disco.
