Jim-E Stack<\/a> is pleased to release his remix of Hyetal\u0092s \u0093Jam the Network<\/strong>.\u0094 A minimal take on the Bristol-based producer\u0092s original, Jim-E Stack\u0092s remix is a meditative rework that pays tribute to the original source material\u0092s melodic strength. Jim-E Stack is also prepping the release of his latest single, \u0093Run\u0094 set for release on Nov. 5th. <\/p>\n

Jim-E Stack has always had a knack taking a wild and assorted set of influences and filtering them into a coherent, heartfelt sound. Growing up in San Francisco, a young Jim-E Stack got his start playing drums in school bands, experimenting with everything from jazz to hip-hop. Jim-E switched to electronic music as a teenager, honing his craft while in college in New Orleans. Now calling New York home, Jim-E Stack perfected his own sound \u2014 one that synthesizes everything from 90s house to Baltimore club. Over the last few years, Jim-E Stack has built a following on the strength of his early singles and EPs on labels like Body High and Good Years. He\u0092s also proven himself equally comfortable remixing the likes of Sky Ferreira and A$AP Rocky as he is tweaking deep-house classics like DV8\u0092s \u0093C\u0092mon.\u0094<\/p>\n

Jim-E Stack is currently prepping his long-awaited debut full-length, set for release in early 2014. While the new record incorporates Jim-E\u0092s club music background, it aims to be as comfortable outside the club as inside it. More details to come.<\/p>\n
