The Common, a newly indie band based out of London, recently released a EP tiltled ‘In Front Of The Mirrorball’ on Glasstone Records<\/a>. The band automatically caught my attention within my first listening. I really dig the electronic music influences like the samples, synths, as well as the live instrumentation and vocals of lead singer Charlie Gray. My favorite songs on this 5 track EP are “Loom”<\/em> and “Panic Over.”<\/em> If your into bands such as Yeasayer, The XX, or even electronic music producer and singer-songwriter James Blake, you’ll definitely dig The Common<\/a>!
