Vinny used the creative process behind this project as a chance to escape from his own reality \u2013 even the self-designed cover is a collage of nostalgic Polaroids. Though a personal project, the result is a collection of sounds we can all use to reflect, escape and create.<\/p>\n<p>The 10-track instrumental album consists of clips and snippets of films and songs that remind NiceGuyxVinny of the people who inspire him. Each track is named after a special person in his life.<br \/>\nDJs can sneak <em><strong>\u201cLawrence\u201d<\/strong><\/em> into a rowdy party mix, <em>\u201cMaydra\u201d<\/em> is fit for Sunday meditation and incense burning, and <em>\u201cAdeline\u201d<\/em> serves up a hypnotic trance vibe.<\/p>\n<p>Jamiroquai\u2019s \u201cCanned Heat\u201d on <em><strong>\u201cSavannah\u201d<\/strong><\/em> surprisingly transitions into a slow, dreamy beat with a male-voice commanding us to \u201cdrop it.\u201d The sweet sample of Selena\u2019s \u201cDreaming of You\u201d on VISTA\u2019s finale <em>\u201cConrado\u201d<\/em> is flipped into a bass heavy repetition.<\/p>\n<p>Each track is crafted with enough personality to stand out, but still complement one another as a cohesive project. Though we may have individual influences and experiences that have different effects on our lives, it\u2019s still easier to function when the bigger picture makes sense.
