The thirteen track project will also include features from <strong>B.J. The Chicago Kid<\/strong> and <strong>Casey Veggies<\/strong>. Following their <strong>BET Music Matters<\/strong> tour with <strong>TDE&#8217;s Kendrick Lamar<\/strong> to end the year, in 2013, <a href = http:\/\/flydotu.com\/flyunion\/index.html \/target=\"_blank\">Fly Union<\/a> found themselves in studio finishing <em>&#8220;Small Victories&#8221;<\/em>. It was created while traveling between Atlanta, Columbus and L.A. Not only making music, but also making strides with their licensing and marketing deals through Samsung, ESPN and NBA 2K14. &#8220;<em>Small Victories<\/em>&#8221; is produced entirely by <strong>Iyeball<\/strong> and <strong>JaySwifa<\/strong> of <strong>Fly Union<\/strong> whose sound is timeless. <strong>Fly Union<\/strong> has been a Columbus hip-hop mainstay longer than one might think. No group has represented the city\u2019s shift from underground\/record-store culture to fashion culture better and they did it first. The best way to describe Fly Union from there mixtapes &#038; albums is like a vintage bottle of premiere wine, &#8220;<em>It just keeps getting better with time<\/em>.&#8221; Each project is a constant progression from the last one with continual growth amazing production and witty wordplay.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cEvery beat on this project sounds like it\u2019s from a different producer, and it wasn\u2019t really on purpose,\u201d Jay Swifa said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think our journey is really in the album,\u201d Jerreau said. \u201cIt\u2019s different from the first project, and hopefully people will take it as an independent body of work because it\u2019s not The Greater Than Club.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s all small victories, pun intended,\u201d Jerreau said. \u201cThere are certain things you\u2019ve got to step back from and say, \u2018Wow, I did that,\u2019 and acknowledge that it\u2019s an achievement.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><center><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/081uJlrqZUM\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/center><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Artist: Fly Union Album: Small Victories Released: July 3, 2014 Fly Union drops their newest project &#8220;Small Victories&#8221; as a follow up to their Loose Releases EP.
