That is why we\u2019re here to shine some light on old\/new stuff that will open the mind up. Lily has done just that, with her upcoming documentary film \u201cBayou Maharajah\u201d which is about pianist <a href=\"http:\/\/jamesbooker.com\/\">James Booker<\/a>. This guy was insanely good on the piano, has worked with <strong>Aretha Franklin<\/strong> and <strong>The Doobie Brothers<\/strong>, and taught the greats like <strong>Dr. John<\/strong> and <strong>Harry Connick Jr<\/strong>. Hearing Booker play the piano sounds like there are two on the keys. It was nice to hear such amazing attention to classical as adding his original New Orleans calypso feel to the ivory keys of any piano he touched.
