The song reflects on the recent issues of police brutality happening throughout the inner city against blacks and minorities which is becoming a daily reality in our nation.  The chorus features Jadakiss saying <em>\u201cDon\u2019t shoot please, can\u2019t breathe\/ officer don\u2019t shoot can\u2019t breathe\/ I got my hoodie and my mask on,\u201d<\/em> are of course references to the deaths of both Eric Garner and Trayvon Martin while rocking a hoody that says <strong>&#8220;Do Something&#8221;<\/strong>.
