This past January the first US installment of the Boiler Room<\/a> x Budweiser “Discover What\u0092s Brewing” series took place in Philadelphia with DJ Jazzy Jeff, Kur, Joie Kathos, Cosmo Baker b2b Matthew Law.

\nNow, the next edition of this series is hitting Los Angeles on March 1st. Headlining the night will be LA natives Buyepongo, whose style absorbs hip-hop, punk, funk, and jazz sounds into a delirious tropical blend of styles from across the Latin American diaspora. Joining them will be prolific producer and vinyl-collector Quantic spinning an all 45s set of Mexican and Colombia cumbia, Chico Mann & Captain Planet, two forces in the new wave of Latin music in LA who recently joined forces to release an album bridging hip hop, house, and afro-cuban music and lastly a DJ set from Mexican Institute of Sound, the electronic music project of Mexico City-based DJ and producer Camilo Lara.
