<\/a><\/center><\/p>\nThe second annual Summertime in the LBC was hosted at The Queen Mary last weekend on July 7th. Headlined by Snoop Dogg and Ice Cube, we also got to see the legendary artists Ja Rule along with Ashanti, E-40 with Too $hort, Warren G, DJ Quik, The Dove Shack and many more. Though the weather wasn\u2019t in our favor, the sold-out show was definitely the hottest scene in Long Beach. <\/p>\n
All the music lovers from different generations gathered onto the blistering field to groove and bounce to the music. The mid 90 degree weather didn\u2019t stop the OG music lovers to run across the field from the 40 oz Stage to the Kick Back Stage to see The Isley Brother. <\/p>\n
We spoke to a father-daughter duo who came to attend the show together. As Katelynn Nuno enjoyed her turkey leg under the shade, her father Mr.Nuno told us, \u201cwe went to the first Summertime in the LBC last year so we had to come back again. I got her a ticket for today as a graduation present,\u201d in awe that the festival has grown so much in the past year he and his daughter said that they were excited to be back together for another round of fun. <\/p>\n
With full of nostalgic feels, new vendors, improved parking and shuttle situation, and a bigger and better crowd we can conclude that the Summertime in the LBC was a successful festival in our books. <\/p>\n
