OR (situationally).. if you are a woman: the Louie Vuitton handbag rocking, champagne popping, moscato honeys that look just as good in a pair of Jordans as they do in some red bottoms.<\/p>\n

Really tho.. it’s for anybody who likes macadelic poetix in hi-def for CSI and kahlua sounding, cookies & cream mudslide vibes.<\/p>\n

It’s part Crooklynite and all Californication as Riverside’s most villainous strikes back on some Reasonable Doubt shit, you know\u2026 cocaine and caviar. Upscale smooth raps to pull dimes to and still make you wanna rubber band the knots on your gwop. Sade could freak this cashmere just as easily as Crooks delivers his manifesto over the sultry golden era production on this project.<\/p>\n

Stevie Crooks<\/strong> drops on everything from the DJ Premier outro to Jay-Z’s “A Million and One Questions” to the instrumental for Ras Kass’ “Marinating.” But it’s more than Crooks’ ability to rhyme over vintage rap breaks that makes this project ILL, it’s the way he splashes his lyrics like lobster sauce over angel hair pasta and maintains the rock like cigar smoke and apple martinis. It’s the skits from Paid in Full and Above the Rim. It’s a combination of elements. And you can tell Stevie<\/strong> tips his hat to Hova stylistically, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. It’s just the tip of the iceberg for the young emcee as he carves out his own dynasty in the dungeons of rap.<\/p>\n

The album artwork is a portrait.They musta really been doing some Lifted Research when Grouping this project together. Crooks<\/strong> drops that gemstar ramon razor flow he’s known for, but never strings pearls before swine.
