One producer that has been on the scene for a while and far from ever disappointing goes by an alter ego <strong>Kone<\/strong> and has followed up his debut album<em> The Tractatus<\/em> with a gritty, lo-fi EP entitled <em>Legend Days<\/em>, which is released on Alpha Pup. This release is on point with what every beat head from L.A. wants. He experiments with drums, strings, and samples. The sounds that leak through the speakers while playing this will take you back to a simpler time. With the many tracks that impress \u201cIn The Wind\u201d and &#8220;White Smoke&#8221; (feat. <strong>J1 aka The Deer<\/strong>) significantly stood out. It had this heavy dirty sound that was created with a raw bassline and grainy drums. You can hear the influences of nu\u2019jazz, minimal, and vintage sounds.
