Kirko Bangz has parlayed his 2012 XXL freshman nomination into established fame and making even bigger noise with his radio hits \u201cWhat Yo Name Iz\u201d and \u201cDrank In My Cup\u201d, but PK4 marks a turn for him. He has perfected that slow melodic h-town rapping style that Drake has made so popular, Texas presence is felt throughout the entire project; from the slow beats to the screw effect, Kirko Bangz uses all of them heavily, but doesn\u2019t overdo it. Over a course of 13 tracks, Bangz showcases his ability to craft catchy flows and it is refreshing to see an artist really rep from Houston and take that style and make it fresher. <\/p>\n
\u201cHold it Down\u201d features Young Jeezy, it\u2019s that boisterous streetwise banger and by far one of the standout songs, due to how effortlessly it incorporates the feel of PK4 with the punches on verses like \u201cAnd niggas say I’m singing\/well singing got me bitches\/and you just got me bitches\/these niggas in my city, all up in my business\/start asking bout a nigga, yes them bitches…\u201d <\/p>\n
\u201cNasty Nigga\u201d is that traditional Southern rap anthem, about how nasty they can get with a breezy. With Tyga also on this cut, the song is going to be comical in a good way. \u201cAnd now she turn that ass around for that 69\/How many licks did you take, I’m on 89\/That pussy taste like water, my favorite kind\/I lick the tats on her back, yeah, every night\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n
Objectively darker and personal with odes to his fallen aunt on \u201cUsed To Be\u201d and the guitar driven \u201cHelp Me Out\u201d, PK4 wants to solidify Kirko as an artist, not just a hitmaker who has tracks for the ladies. But what is a good Texas player\u2019s mixtape without a track for the strippers? \u201cThat Pole\u201d has Chris Brown on the hook and a slow guitar in the background. Together that\u2019s a concoction for disaster especially if you are on the dance floor. They make magic and don\u2019t be surprised if \u201cThat Pole\u201d with Breezy turns into another radio smash for Kirko.
