Artist: Hawdwerk
Title Track: Still Rollin’
Released: December 11, 2012

Up and coming lyricist and California native, Hawdwerk has released his lead single “Still Rollin” from his upcoming project “The Graveyard Shift”. Hawdwerk is a story teller which is very much appreciated in hip hop, and this song is a positive view on young love and contrasts to what our culture is accustomed to hearing and seeing these days.

“I like that we still holdin on/ it’s like that children’s song, merrily we roll along/ all alone, on her own, let’s turn off our phones/ we don’t need nobody interrupting our time I know/ you be busy, you a lady with all types of thoughts/ hit the books, got a job barely got the time at all/ with niggas through ya head can I be ya Tylenol/ and you’ll come to bed with nothing buy ya towel on…”

Produced by Kaleem “Sincere” Wasif, the beat is melodic in a way and truly soulful. It kind of creates the mood that genuinely immerses you into the story. A very expressive track, Hawdwerk did his thing. This track absolutely deserves a listen. Check it out below.
