There’s a crazy dope pop up show happening in Los Angeles and IllSociety was in attendance last Friday for the opening acts. The Zamrock themed BAZAAAAAR was a pop up of art, music and eclectic prints that individually make up the collections of Della, Fashion Rising, African Lookbook and Osei Duro.

As the story goes, it was an interesting setup of events. As if we were kids just getting a taste of the outside world, our gaze was in constant rotation from the racks to the walls and more often than not, the drop dead gorgeous crowd that appeared to have fallen straight from the racks. We wondered if it was all that immense body heat we needed a breather from or the crazy joy that came from being witness to a crowd adorned in tempting pieces to match the vibe of Afro-pop eccentricities.

At the last call for alcohol, everyone shuffled outside to push up on Theophilus London who absolutely would have rightfully murdered the night if it wasn’t for a disappointing sound system. Although, for what he was able to give we were able to return by swerving it out one time with him AND his white leather! All in all, the shit was fun and we enjoyed ourselves while even enjoying some new friends to play with, front and center, along the way.

Be sure to check out this beautiful BAZAAAAAR at SPACE 15 TWENTY until May 27th and tell ’em we sent you!
