Some of you designers have a weird obsession with food, but that’s okay because people like me love it. It’s like a trick to get fat people to buy your garments. It’s smart; it makes a consumers “hungry for more.” Italian Label, Frankie Morello, does just that for its 2014 Spring/Summer Collection. Both designers and Founders of the fashion Label, Maurisio Modica and Pierfrancesco Gigliotti, brought creative designs inspired by the lifestyle of summer by presenting graphic prints of food and well-structured designs inspired by sailing. The collection includes blazers with and without novelty prints, as well as shorts, denim and leather jackets, tees and long sleeved crew necks, and cool graphic tees. Yes, the food prints has been done before, but after viewing the whole collection, I have gotten the full summer vibe.
