Photographer Nick Brandt captures animals from a new perspective in his latest images that depict animals that have been calcified by the extreme local environment of Lake Natron in Tanzania. The Black & White photography were animals Nick Brandt picked up that have been calcified by the extreme local environment of Lake Natron in Tanzania. Due to the extreme salt and soda content of the lake causes the creatures to calcify as they dry, which Brandt’s camera captures in the shots.
