On Friday Jan 10th LA CANVAS and Hennessy sponsored an event at Tried + True on Fairfax that showcased the Fall 2014 Active Lifestyle Collection of the Champion USA brand. This launch party was an effort to reintroduce them to the LA Market; with the amount of tastemakers that were in attendance, I would say they succeeded.
Providing the soundtrack for the evening were DJ’s SEANO and HAPA who kept the packed house entertained with their upbeat music selections. There was also a live art installation by Mike Norice who had everyones attention as he painted a dope Wu-Tang portrait that could be seen from the street. The line for the open bar seemed neverending as people waited to fill their cup with that HennyRock. The atmosphere was chill throughout the night as everyone mingled, took advantage of the countless photo ops, networked, met that new connect, and just enjoyed the good vibes. I know I enjoyed myself and look forward to what Champion brings to the LA fashion scene…check for em in the streets!
