Last Saturday (March 29) Known Gallery opened an exhibit featuring 28 portraits & live shots of Bob Marley by British photagrapher/artist Dennis Morris. The photos shown span a period in the iconic musicians life between 1973 up to the year of his passing; 1981. Morris’ music photography career started with Marley and is what he’s most noted for, but not where it ended. His work has made magazine covers, he’s published books, held various positions in the music industry to include being Art Director at Island Records, and has had major exhibitions across the globe. He now lives in London where he is involved with projects for the BBC and Channel 4. The exhibit was successful and Mr. Morris sold plenty of pieces. Below is a photo recap of the opening. Enjoy!
