Brooklyn Synth-Pop band Papertwin releases their debut album “Vox Humana” from group mates Max Decker (vocals, guitar, synth), Francis Cardinale (drums, programming) and Nick Shopa (synth). The EP was recorded under the guidance of producer Abe Seiferth (Yeasayer, Eleanor Friedberger, Turning Machine, DFA’s Plantain Studios), and mastered by Joe Laporta (Vampire Weekend, Beach House). The band also premiered their new video with the release of the album titled “ARCO”, which features two beautiful women that take a care free adventure around their town from the beach, gas stations, and other random locations. The girls have day out takes a change for the worst when they are attacked by a man during their takeover in the inner city. The girl flee the scene and end up falling asleep on a city park bench where the video ends. Vox Humana escalates the band’s brand of synth-pop to new heights with the bands dreamy/dark sci-fi sound. The EP features analog synthesizers, driving percussion, and reflective vocals that captures the groups influences.
