Bait celebrates the opening of its third location with good vibes and grilled cheese. The store – founded by Eric Cheng – first opened in Diamond Bar, expanded to Orange County and now sits on Melrose. The boutique emphasizes an expansive shoe selection, but also carries men’s contemporary clothing and accessories.
On the night of its private opening, Bait was also celebrating its Adidas SL Loop release. The shopping event was complete with live DJ, open bar serving Pabst Blue Ribbon and vodka-spiked Hubert’s Lemonade, plus the Grilled Cheese and Recess Ice Cream trucks parked back-to-back.
Bait LA’s design is spacious and contemporary. Artwork of Run DMC and Michael Jordan decorate its walls, a subtle waterfall behind the register doubles as a TV screen and shoes are basically, everywhere.
Carrying collectibles and memorabilia is another added touch Bait incorporates into its brand identity – figurines of characters from your favorite comics, cartoons, action movies and even cereal boxes line the store’s glass cases.
The store is now open to the public.
