The fandom was at an all time high, like a junkie on the brink of overdose, foaming at the mouth and about to spazz the fuck out. Melrose had it’s Time’s Square thing on in full effect, but These Days, that’s to be expected when TDE is in the house.
The Generation Hustle flagship store was buzzing in hyperdrive as the line for the Ab-Soul in store stretched down the block, around the corner and then some. The city of Carson definitely gotta fly the 21 gun salute for their hometown hero, the black lip pastor.
Access was restricted inside the store as Skee TV filmed the initial proceedings. A-List guests, family and friends congregated inside as the anticipation in line reached a frenzy.
Finally, the floodgates opened and the fans were allowed in the store. They were greeted by complimentary tacos and drinks, courtesy of Monaco Vodka and Caba Horchata. A DJ was playing an assortment of your favorite TDE joints. Ab-Soul was in the building, decked out in dark shades on his Eazy-E swag. Curtiss King and Willie B were in the cut. Top Dawg and Punch were there making sure everything went smooth. Even Kendrick Lamar made an impromptu appearance to show his love and support.
People were slowly brought into the event and then washed back out on to the streets to ensure everyone there could share in the light and have a moment with Soulo. The line was a zoo and mos def I got to shout out all of TDE for making the experience personal for all of their fans.
