Album: BANCO
Artist: Sir Michael Rocks
Released: July 29, 2014

There is nothing more refreshing than an artist who understands guys just want to chill and girls just want to dance and creates music that fulfills all those needs without neglecting overall quality.

This is the outcome of Sir Michael Rocks debut album BANCO. The Chicago-bred MC switched up his scenery by moving to Los Angeles, fine-tuned his sound with a variety of collaborations and self-production and delivered an impressive piece of work as a result.

Still following the motto “if it ain’t foreign it’s boring,” BANCO details the experiences surrounding Rocks’ lavish, exotic lifestyle. One major highlight of the album is that it’s spliced with hilarious interludes.

The vibe varies depending on subject matter – from the sped up dope-boy flow on “Drug Dealer” to the laidback, stream of conscious flossing that occurs on “Playstation 1.5.”

Pop BANCO in at your next party and watch everyone unite under one roof. Banco is available for purchase on iTunes.
