Nike Air Max has plans this month to celebrate the unveiling of the new Nike Air Max 1 Ultra “City” Collection. Nike presents the iconic running shoe in six new vibrant floral colorways, each influenced by distinct fashion capitals from around the world including London, Milan, New York, Paris, Shanghai and Tokyo. Overall three patterns have been developed for the collection, each coming in two colorways that represent local flowers and distinct heritage. Roses and lilies stand for New York and Paris, while London and Tokyo come in a mixed roses and cherry blossoms pattern. The Milan and Shanghai Nike Air Max 1 Ultra comes with a pattern made of lilies and plum blossoms. The Women’s Nike Sportswear Spring 2015 City Collection will be available in North America, Nike online and at select Nike Sportswear retailers beginning April 11. The collection will be available to the rest of the world on March 8, International Women’s Day.
