Born in 1957 in Chicago, Illinois, hyperrealistic oil painter Dan Witz earned a BFA from NYC’s Cooper Union. Witz’s photo-realistic mosh pits, nightscapes, and portraits provide a soothing look into some of the most uncomfortable situations.
