On April 9th Jesse Boykins III headlined a show at the Lyric Theatre here in Los Angeles that featured native writer/producer Tiffany Gouche with Val the Vandle spinning. Tiffany performed a couple of her previous hits like “My Level” but most of her set was made up of cuts off her latest EP “Fantasy”. She def had quite a few true fans in the room who were singing right along to her as she massaged our ears with songs like “Nah Nah Nah” and “Slow It Down”.
When it was time for Jesse to hit the stage; the crowd was already warmed up and anxious for the crooning that was to ensue. He gave a pretty mind blowing performance. You couldn’t help but to feel his passion with every breath that poured out of him. His voice was quite captivating and seemed to have a lot of the ladies under this spell of vibrant energy. Like a contagion, the magic he was creating up on that stage spread through out the room that left the audience with a level of peace. By the end of his unforgettable performance you couldn’t help but want more of his serenade. Now that he lives here, I’m sure we will be seeing more of him in the near future but until then you can find his music at jbiiimusic.com and Tiffany Gouche’s Fantasy EP is available at iTunes. Enjoy!
