What started out as Lee kobayashi’s play and perception on neo Tokyo culture has now become a worldwide underground movement. From late 2013 Kobayashi worked throughout Europe on short small pop up events in small towns and sharing his vision with locals and potential business personalities. Upon arrival to the United Kingdom, Kobayashi banded together with a team of like minded passionate individuals to set out and expand his vision and create something innovative, powerful and nostalgic.
Wet Store’s Spring collection consists of 8 hand screen printed pieces using materials like combed organic cotton and wingspan cotton. Taking inspiration from Japanese culture and medication/drug packaging, the result is a unique, graphic range spread over vests, hoodies, sweats and long and short sleeved tees.
