Album: Oodles of Doodles
Artist: Jonwayne
Released: March 6, 2012

Original Keys, strings, and nothing but hypnotizing beats is what Jonwayne brings to the table. I have been listening to this album a lot lately and just had to refresh peoples ears. He finds a passion in beat making that comes from some deep magical place that we can’t find. Mr. Jon has been seen at The Low End Theory and works with Daddy Kev to produce some of the freshest beats I have heard lately. The album Oodles of Doodles is a 48 track piece of work that is calling for smooth operators to lace some dark wizard of oz rhymes on. One track that caught me was “Electricity”. This was a classic madlib influence single with cartoon’ish like breaks and drums. I felt like I was back at Nickle nickle playing Donkey Kong. Give it up to Stones Throw for once again helping bring a new wonderful artist to our stereos.
