Orange County label; Luxe + Lexie debuted its latest collection “Alchymist” over the weekend. Located in the heart of downtown, the collection was showcased inside an intimate venue with refreshing treats and gift bags for their attendees. Created and crafted in 2010, the label only began as a small handmade business sold online through Etsy but with high demands, Luxe + Lexi flourished into an entity of its own.
As scheduled, models trailed the runway dipped in this seasons appropriate fabrics such as mesh, cotton, and jersey. Well cut and designed garments all complemented the black, pastel and floral theme occurring throughout the evening. From the start to the end, each piece was interchangeable and could easily be mixed and matched with several other looks from the collection.
Luxe + Lexie lush taste level translated through the ambiance paying close attention to the choice of interior, lighting and and back drops. The Dj spun cutz but conversations didn’t have to compete with 600 sqft space and live music. Before the night ended lines formed for the instant Photo-Booth set up with props just to add pleasure to business.
The overall presentation was well thought out and executed quiet nicely from the live music to the cold pressed drinks provide by Honest Tea and Shakiti. The Alchymist collection lived up to its name by changing something common into gold. One could appreciate a brand’s vision with direction and style. Luxe + Lexie exudes confidence and luxury while making contemporary looks for the everyday woman.
