The weekend lit up while Soulection took over Downtown Los Angeles right at Fig at 7th. The multitalented force came together to put on a free show for their fans, locals and vagabonds who just so happen to walk by. Fresh sets from Joe Kay and Andre Power kept the crowd moving by mixing our favorite classics from Missy Elliot to the summers hottest reggae tracks. An unexpected performance from the young British cat; J.Prince was embraced by a huge U.S listening base followed Inglewood’s General SiR who continues to set our soul at ease from his choice of words, sounds and message. Although it started off just as a day time gathering, by night fall Fig at 7th had turned into a full blown party with hundreds of hip hop fiends screaming their favorite lyrics. Soulection is known worldwide for their vibrant sound and scene that their bringing into the industry so it’s no surprise they had LA on lock.
