For AW15 hummel have teamed up with Japanese sneaker experts Atmos and minimalist womenswear brand Mila Owen. Breaking away from the guys-only culture of sneakers and streetwear, the trio have produced two colour ways based on hummel’s classic running silhouette – the Marathona. Originating from 1983, the minimalistic Danish design is fused with Japanese elements, celebrating simplicity, quality and attention to detail. This collab is the second instalment from a series where Denmark based native sports brand hummel meets Japan, following on from the March release of the Atmos Globetrotter 28 collaboration. The Girls Only Marathona pack will be landing in select boutique stores around Europe on September 18th. Keep your eyes peeled for the next part of the hummel x Japan series!
