It seems like the trend within the music industry as of late is to join forces to create huge buzzes one of the first examples being ‘Watch the Throne’ with Kanye and Jay, the latest being Drake and Future with “What a Time to be Alive’ and Kendrick and J. Cole announcing their upcoming mixtape. Well we now have a super group that I feel is going to rock the mainstreams latest attempts with Flying Lotus, Shabazz Palaces (formerly Butterfly of jazz–hip hop Digable Planets) and Thundercat. They just released a single called Woke featuring no other than George Clinton. Don’t sleep on it, no pun attended.
