Mr. Raspy aka Mr.Top 5 dead or alive Jadakiss comes together with top producer Swizz Beats to deliver a new buzz worth single titled “Jason” that feels like Ruff Ryders mini reunion with the two former members coming back together to deliver a hit. The song reflects on the recent issues of police brutality happening throughout the inner city against blacks and minorities which is becoming a daily reality in our nation. The chorus features Jadakiss saying “Don’t shoot please, can’t breathe/ officer don’t shoot can’t breathe/ I got my hoodie and my mask on,” are of course references to the deaths of both Eric Garner and Trayvon Martin while rocking a hoody that says “Do Something”. The song is slated to be featured on his upcoming anticipated Top 5 Dead or Alive album.
