When it comes to streetwear and high fashion events in Portland there really isn’t too much to look forward to, luckily we have Machus to keep us fashion kids from going insane. Portland probably isn’t somewhere that usually comes up in conversations about fashion, but it’s definitely on the rise. Events like this one really bring out everyone and their most expensive outfit whether the occasion really calls for it or not, either way it’s great.
Sang Bleu, owned and designed by Maxime Buchi, is an awesome tattoo inspired streetwear brand that’s now been brought to the upper left coast. Maxime has become very popular off his beautiful tattoo work and is now bringing fashion and art together to give us Sang Bleu. Not only did we get to see kids wearing everything from Rick Owens to local designers rocking their own clothes, but some of Maximes Tattoo clients came along which was really a treat. Seeing his work in pictures is great, but in person it really puts it into perspective how talented of an artist he really is.
