Mr. Complex is bringing the heat for 2012 with the recently released “ Swiss Chocolate Cake” album. Complex isn’t a rookie in the game working with artists like DJ Spinna, Shabaam Sahdeeq, and Phil Pro. This album is awesome because you get an OG vinyl and a handy dandy USB drive for us tech heads. “Poppin Off” was the track that pumped me up. it was gritty, loaded with drum samples and Complex’s flows giving the one two punches. Major single on the record is “Holy Smokes” which also has a video out. The track was produced by Phil Pro and has skills written all over it. The beat is very classic has heavy snares, bass that is loud, and drops that allow listeners only to hear the knock out line by Complex. Phil also drops some DJ skills scratching the recordings which would be a hit in the club. Being a skateboarder I know this will be used on a dope video part and pump up kids all over to go out in the world and destroy it. You can pick up the album at most local record shops or you can purchase it on fatbeats.
