Jillian Rose Banks, more popularly known as Banks, has released her highly anticipated second album, THE ALTAR. The sophomore album is a happy marriage between electro-pop and dark beats while featuring her haunting lyrics. The true stand outs from the album are the second track, “Fuck With Myself”, in which Banks whispers, “I fuck with myself more than anybody else”. Also, “This Is Not Us” and “Trainwreck” respectfully. THE ALTAR shows a more mature Banks with her unapologetic lyrics and distinctive sound.
