On November 1st at the Palace in downtown LA, Red Bull Sound Select kicked off its first night of 30 Days In LA with headlining show by Sampha along with Serpentwithfeet and Kelsey Lu both from NYC. All the performances by these artists were as grand as the venue.
Serpentwithfeet opened with an act that experimentally mixes classical and R&B music to his own, which provided a spectacular experience for the audience. As powerful a performance as Serpentwithfeet, Kelsey Lu adds to the vibe of the night with her talent of soulful vocals and use of the cello.
To put the cherry on top of the night, Sampha performs a set full of his hit songs such as “Timmy’s Prayers” and “Too Much”. With a passion, that one can only feel if he or she was there. We’ll be bring you more 30 Day’s In LA coverage from selected shows, which will be going on every day through the whole month of November.
