Red Bull Sound Select night 18 kicked off with an impressive & powerful all women lineup which included a variety of different sounds spanning through different genres.
Namasenda doing her first show not only in the US but, her first show ever showcased her high energy and house-type music to the Los Angeles crowd.
Sampa The Great, a Botswana-raised rapper, singer-songwriter, and poet also had her first LA Debut. She debuted her first mixtape that released in 2015 titled “The Great Mixtape” and performed current hit single release “Blue Boss“.
Detroit’s Dej Loaf headlined the show. Calling out all the girls in the crowd to rap along. Bursting onto the scene in 2014 with her first hit “Try Me“, she performed a mixture of old and new songs from past mixtapes, following some of her more recent hit singles which included songs with Lil Durk and Big Sean. She also brought out Casey Veggies which she announced a new project coming soon, so be on the lookout for new music from young veggies and Dej!
