We’re coming in live at The Wiltern on November 29th, 2016. The WESTSIDE was definitely in the house!. Night 29 consisted of Tasha The Amazon, Finding Novyon, and Los Angeles’s very own YG 400 sold out The Wiltern Tuesday night.
Tasha The Amazon, a rising Toronto artist has been popping up on every ones radar lately with rising streams on the Spotify charts. Here latest single release, “Prayer” was the song that everyone could relate to while also playing a variety of songs off her latest EP, Die Every Day.
Finding Novyon was up next coming straight out of Minneapolis, Minnesota. After his hit single “Lots” was featured on Pigeon & Planes’ best song of 2015 and opening for Big Sean, Finding Novyon has been destroying stages in 2016. Tonight was no different. He played his hit single along with a his new EP, Super Saiyan 2. Be on the lookout with new collaborations with Sonny Digital, Chuck Inglish, and Asher Roth in the near future.
The headliner was none other than Compton’s very own YG. Coming fresh off his sophomore album “Still Brazy” and a surprise EP “Red Friday”, YG can do no wrong. Continuing his “Fuck Donald Trump” North American tour, YG stopped by his hometown and turned it into a classic “West Coast” party! He played every one of his hits songs throughout the years and even took it back with the songs that got him on “Toot it and Boot it”. All in all you just needed to be there. It felt like history in the making for LA. Make sure to follow his upcoming tour dates to see where he performs next, because you will not be disappointed.
