Playboi Carti had a headlining show at the Novo on the 8th of April, which did not disappoint his cult following. The concert kicked off with the support of, an upcoming rapper from Chicago, who performed songs like “Jugg Mane” featuring Maxo Kream and his hit “Speed Racer.” Keeping the momentum, Unotheactivist comes out for a set of his own to a pleased Carti crowd. Without any hesitation, Uno plays a hand full of songs, including his new tune “Freesmoke”, which was made in response to altercations with Lil Yachty and WHAT, which is a joint project with Cash Carti. With energy in the building, the temperature is now set for Playboi.

As he comes out, the building starts to shake due to the mosh pits, jumping, and yelling for ASAP mob’s Playboi Carti. Vibing off the energy, Playboi gives his fans a show that was well deserved. Carti fans were able to hear his new singles off his anticipated mixtape, “Lookin” and “Woke up like this.” In addition, he performed an unreleased song “Hide it in my sock” that the fans surprisingly knew the lyrics to from the gecko. Shown by the energy of his show, when Playboi’s first mixtape allegedly releases on the 14th of April, Carti season will definitely be into play.
