Anyone who attended the Kaytranada show on April 17 was greeted with a line reaching half way around the block to the Flyway at Fox venue in Pomona. The line was long, but there were no complaints as doors opened and fans poured into the venue filling both the floor space as well as the balcony.
As the curtains opened for the first time that night, opener Lou Phelps took the stage and warmed the crowd up. After a few songs Goldlink crashed onto the stage with an insane energy that had even some of the staff dancing. Masego joined Goldlink for a short performance before headliner Kaytranada put the entire venue into a melodic trance. His set was full of familiar bangers, a couple unreleased songs, and a few joints that took the entire venue on a new level.
