Tropicalia Music and Taco Festival debuts this Saturday, November 11, 2017 at the Queen Mary Park in Long Beach, CA. The rumors are true; they will be offering all you can eat tacos until 4PM. Yes! you heard right “free tacos”. Tropicalia offers an eclectic line-up that will resonate with music lovers of any given genre. Headlining the festival is LA’s favorite psychedelic soul, funk rockers Chicano Batman, norteño legends Los Tigres del Norte, and Colombian-American songstress Kali Uchis.

There will be throwback performances from 90’s RnB star Ginuwine and futuristic sets from the modish lo-fi singer/songwriter/rapper King Krule. Latin music will be well represented throughout the day with the cumbia sounds of La Sonora Dinamita and Celso Piña. Of course Los Angeles will be representing with Very Be Careful, Las Cafeteras, Buyepongo, La Banda Skalavera, Thee Commons, Cuco plus plenty of DJ sets & ambiance.

Tropicália also welcomes the late addition of iconic Mexican band Café Tacvba whose musical mix of punk, electronica, folk, cumbia and just about every other Latin rhythm will add to this highly anticipated event.

As if this wasn’t enough, the line-up also features some of our favorite progressive hip-hop and r&b artists like Jhene Aiko, Alina Baraz, GoldLink, Madlib, Sango, Jorja Smith, Smino, XXYYXX, and Phony Ppl.
