Jersey Club innovator R3LL reinvents the sound once again on A JERZ Love Story EP. Through 4 glossy club productions, including collaborations with some of Jersey’s finest talents (UNIIQU3, Rell Rock, Bleszt), R3LL pens a state-of-the-art homage to the music scene and state that raised him.
“With this EP, I wanted to take my fans deeper into the real world of Jersey Club; collaborating with artists from back home who are each pushing the sound to new levels,” states R3LL. “Musically, this is the first time I’ve worked with rappers to really develop the lyricism and build out proper songs; Jersey Club doesn’t always have to be about choppy vocals! I named the project A JERZ Love Story, because this is my love letter to Jersey Club; the sound that has taken me all over the world, and united people from all walks of life on the dance floor.”
A JERZ Love Story is R3LL’s anticipated follow-up to 2016’s Dim Mak EP Visions, on which he worked with producers from around the world (Norway’s Autolaser, Spain’s Alizzz, Japan’s Banvox and HVNS) to give the genre an expansive international overhaul. Since then, R3LL has continued breaking down genre walls, bringing club sounds to Tomorrowland, MTV Wonderland, the Anime Expo, nightclubs across Asia and Certified, his self-produced and curated Jersey Club night in Los Angeles. R3LL continues to prove why New Jersey’s club music is one of today’s most exciting and innovative genres to rally behind.
