San Francisco based singer-songwriter Berel has teamed up with Oakland producer Aabo to cover one of our favorite songs by Xavier Omär, “Blind Man”. The tune’s original transmission elegantly anti-objectifies women and beauty standards, as the protagonist protests that beauty isn’t seen through the eyes, rather induced emotionally. Berel vocals weave cohesively with Aabo’s rich organic instrumentation, offering the original track a resonating sentiment and live band feel.
