Album: Sick Sad World
Artist: Rogue Venom

New to me and should be known by all is Rogue Venom. She is getting her Sick Sad World album out there and isn’t a newbie to the game. Her flows are sharp as knives and ready to cut anyone who steps up. She has a quick style of rhyming and it complements her deep knowledge of word play. A track I can’t stop playing is “Sunday”. This is her anthem to drinking and knowing that Sundays are fun days. You don’t hear a lot of MCs rapping like this let a lone a woman who is tougher than a lot of guy MCs out there. When I first heard the album Rogue reminds me of a combination of Big L and Jean Grey with a west coast twist. Producers like Ras G, Elusive, KG Boom, Mill and Budamunkey produce the album, and they laid the blank canvas down for Rogue to have her way with it. Many of the tracks have sick hooks and cuts of OG samples that hit. Go show support for another LA artist that is killing it and check her bandcamp page.
