Mixtape: Young Sinatra: Undeniable
Artist: Logic
Released: April 30, 2012

After much anticipation Logic has finally dropped his junior mixtape, Young Sinatra: Undeniable. And in my mind Young Sinatra has done it again because this project is flawless. Logic keeps this tape soulful while paying homage to the golden days of hip hop. He is a breath of fresh air and the way he uses his words are very reminiscent of the 90s era which is exactly what the game is missing. He even has a way of telling a story with his lyrics which reminds me of Eminem around his Infinite days. A few tracks to check out besides his singles “Numbers”, “Tic Tac Toe”, and “Spotlight” (which also has video treatment), would be my personal favorite “Relaxation”, which is about a girl catching major feelings after he hits her with the smoothness and also “Disgusting” Feat. C Dot Castro, about his come-up and how he murders his haters. Now, a lot of hip hop heads say that he has been copying Drake’s style and biting his flow. I don’t know what they have been listening to but Logic definitely has his own style and flow. Throughout this whole mixtape I haven’t heard anything close to Drizzy Drake- its all Logic, and with smooth production from within his Ratt Pack crew, the tracks on Young Sinatra: Undeniable flow from beginning to end and he even has a few comical skits to keep the feel of this project upbeat. This is logic’s best tape to date so do yourself a favor and cop this masterwork here stat!
