Tyler, the Creator‘s new album IGOR has arrived and we’re ecstatic to give it a listen. IGOR is the follow-up to Tyler’s 2017 LP Flower Boy, which is a great album as well.
It’s no secret Tyler is heavenly inspired by Pharrell and Ye’s music. Tyler takes those influences to create the sound palette on the album. It’s dope how he arranged the project from beginning to end. It takes you on a musical journey filled with layers of sounds, emotions, thoughts, and questions. The album features special guest appearances from Kanye West, Lil Uzi Vert, Charlie Wilson, Playboi Carti, and possibly more!
Last night, Tyler tweeted a disclaimer for IGOR on Twitter saying… “Don’t go into this expecting a rap album,” he wrote. “Don’t go into this expecting any album.”
