Coming off the heels from his highly anticipated debut album Tako’s Son, Rucci officially kicked off his “Tako’s Son” tour at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles. We were there in attendance to show our support and cover what turned out to be an epic night! As soon as the doors open the venue filled up quickly with fans. The show was lit off the rip with special guest appearances from Joe Moses, Saviii 3rd, Lil Duece, 1TakeQuan, BravoTheBagChaser, and others all throughout the night.
One thing was fasho, the city of Champions came out to support the Inglewood native. We could help to notice there were a lot of bloods in the building throwing up big B’s. It felt like an episode of gangland lol. Even though there were different neighborhoods inside the venue, the energy was lit and peaceful. We saw bloods, crips, and ese’s all having a good time without anyone set trippin. It was really dope seeing Rucci do his thing on stage. You can tell he was enjoying himself as he sipped on his bottle of Don Julio tequila. As soon as that tequila kicked in his Spanish side came out lol performing “La Bamba,” “Lowrider,” and even his track “Cholo”. Shit was dope. Rucci put on a great show!
