Over the years Mtendere Mandowa, more commonly known as Teebs, has established himself as a consummate artist. With a completely unique style, his ideas seemingly flow from a cloudy hidden realm of the ether straight through the medium and onto the canvas. As both a producer and a painter, his projects possess a flawless consistency that pulls one deep into the worlds he creates. Layered and endlessly lush, Teebs’ music speaks to the mind and the body in a hyper-real way that ultimately leaves one relaxed, curious, and perplexed all at the same time.
Teebs recently released his latest full-length album titled, Anicca, and has embarked on his “Anicca Tour.” Teebs is heading to San Francisco along with Jeremiah Jae on Friday, Novermber, 29th at the Great American Music Hall. Doors open at 8:00 PM.
